Have you ever noticed that the best things in life cost a little more or sell out very quickly? Well a holiday villa in a great location is no different!

With the boom in property development over the last few years there have been many new villas built. Unfortunately many have just been built because the owner had the land! Even if the standard of construction is great there may be nothing else around it.

The first is the villa in a great location? A villa in a great location is one that is close to what it is you want to do on your holiday. Is it near a golf course; restaurants; beach; bars? Do you have to use your car or can you walk and enjoy the odd glass of wine without the burden of driving your car on holiday?

The second is what facilities does the villa in question have? Does the holiday villa have its own private pool; air conditioning; satellite TV; luxurious outdoor furniture; full equipped kitchen; luxurious bathrooms; maid service; welcome packs; etc.?

The third; is the villa in close proximity to the airport? Transfer times are important as you don’t want a stressful drive long drive to start or end your important vacation.

The fourth is taking all the above into account, how does the villa in question stack up in terms of value for money? Holiday makers, like every other section of society are looking for bargains. But there is a rule in life that says “if it looks to good to be true it generally is”! If your “villa in demand” looks more expensive than others yet it is quite well booked it is generally because something is right about it.

You need the well earned break in a luxury villa. When you come back from holiday from a villa in your chosen location you want to feel relaxed; look at your photos and have great memories; you should leave wanting more! All this equates to great VALUE. Value is therefore what you should look for. How do you price value? Look at the four criteria above and score your holiday villa in your chosen location.

Does it answer what you are looking for? (If all the information is visible on the villa company’s website great, but remember a reputable company will always have people at the end of a phone to answer those questions that only you have thought of!)
